Where are we staying?

Lodging is private for the protection and safety of our attendees. Hotel announcement will be 48-72 hours before the event. Off-site lodging will not be allowed. Members attending the Leadership Conference must remain on the property overnight with the group, every night.

Will there be single rooms available?

We will be offering single beds and single rooms; however, these will come at a higher rate. Desire for a single bed or room can be indicated on your RSVP form.

Asheville offers natural ambiance within the Blue Ridge Mountains. Leaders will have the opportunity to connect on a smaller scale, network, get advice, and bond in a brand-new Zeta experience unlike any other.

Can former sorority leaders attend?

Yes! There will be an RSVP window for former leaders within our sorority that are still members in a chapter, or in the Alumnae Association.

Will there be a liability waiver?

Yes. As always for Zeta Mu Phi sorority events, all attendees will be required to sign a general liability waiver or will not be permitted to attend

How will transportation work, and what is the closest airport?

The closest airport will be Asheville Regional Airport. It is the members responsibility to arrange rideshare to the hotel.

What is the climate like during that time of year?

On average, Asheville experiences a high of 59-63 degrees fahrenheit; with lows around 36-40 degrees. Leaders should dress warmly, but plan with layers incase of a cold or hot spell.

Can we bring a plus one?

This Leadership Conference is limited to Zeta's. No family, friends, husbands, wives, dogs, cats, emotional support manatees, co-workers, cousins twice-removed, etc. In addition, if a non-Zeta were to travel with the member and stay off-site, they are not permitted in sorority lodging or at Zeta events. Members are not permitted to leave the group to hang out with their non-Zeta and return to the Conference afterwards.This is a Zeta-only event

How do I find a roommate?

You will be able to request a roommate on your RSVP form. Check with your chapter officer's, interns, or other sorority leaders that you know. If you don't know anybody attending- no problem! We'll welcome you with open arms.

What if there's inclement weather?

The weather is very unpredictable! If it appears that the weather forecast will put our members in danger before we have departed for the Leadership Conference, we will do what we can to ensure that the event goes on in a safe environment. If that cannot happen, we will coordinate directly with members on either a new date, or refund for event cancellation. With that said- we have yet to cancel a sorority event due to weather. This is just a precaution.

What about safety precautions?

Safety is our number one priority, even before fun! We partner members with a leader as their designated 'buddy' for all issues that may arise. We also adopt the buddy system via gal pals, traveling in a minimum of two's, at all times so that no member is left alone in public spaces. We utilize Life360 so that if an emergency were to occur, we have a trail for the authorities to follow; in addition to the fact that it helps leaders know where attendees are at all times. Please keep in mind that it is also up to the attendee to ensure that they are using strategies for personal safety when in public and complying with the buddy system.
